The client wanted to take a classical jazz album approach, aiming for a design that feels nostalgic and enduring. Ducky explored a variety of references, one being Saul Bass, and took inspiration for preserving a strong and recognizable silhouette.

The concept embraces a wabi-sabi approach, celebrating its intentional misalignment and imperfections while achieving the organic balance in design. This approach was meant to give a lived-in feeling for design rather than being overly polished. Typography was meant to complement the color palette that was meant to tie the overall mood and visual elements together. By combining these influences, the outcome is cohesive and expressive.
