Dr Kim’s Solo Piano Album cover 

This album cover draws inspiration from the bold, minimalistic style of 50s-60s hard bop (bebop) jazz album designs. We aimed for a visual aesthetic that combined simplicity with a touch of playfulness. To start, we focused on a limited color palette—choosing an off-white cream as the base color to evoke warmth, complemented by vibrant orange to mirror the energetic yet soulful feel of the music.

The concept evolved as we began sketching, incorporating chunky, playful piano keys and bold, striking typography. With these elements coming together, the design naturally took shape, capturing both the spirit of the music and the classic style of jazz album art.
