“Hello hello, my name is Anna. I’m currently wading my way through university, aiming to land a job in the design field. Since crayons and colored pencils, I’ve always had an eye for art. I used to draw the forest around my house (still do) when I was young and have held a special place for the beauty of nature and human creation. This has led me to take an interest in the advancement of technology coupled with the impact of our environment.”
“Hiya, my name is Clara! I go to WSU for Computer Science, but don't let that deceive you! I am an artist and designer first. I grew up in Tacoma Washington constantly painting and creating, and meshing that with technology along the way. When I am not coding or designing, I am either covered in paint working on my next masterpiece or traveling to worlds beyond by book.”
“Hi I’m Benichiro Tasaki. I’m a 2nd Year student at WSU majoring in DTC on the Design and video game track. I am from Herndon, Virginia. I chose to major in DTC because I have always liked drawing and was artistic and loved video games growing up, so I thought I could be good at graphic design and also wanted to learn game design. In my free time, I draw, go to the gym, and hang out with friends.”
“Hi, I’m Joshika! I’m a junior at Washington State University, majoring in Digital Technology and Culture. I’m from Issaquah, Washington.I fell in love with design during an intro class I took in high school, back when everything felt uncertain during the pandemic. That class was my first glimpse into the world of creativity and problem-solving, and I’ve been hooked ever since.Outside of school, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book. I’ve been obsessed with reading since seventh grade, and it’s been my escape and inspiration ever since. One of my all-time favorite authors is Chloe Gong. The way she incorporates modern social issues into stories and characters inspired by Shakespeare is absolutely brilliant.”

“Hello, I'm Cedric. I am an artist and designer from Bellingham Washington who is curious about the relationship between nature and technology. My affinity towards nature developed from an early age as I grew up exploring the forested mountains and decorated coastlines of the pacific northwest. However, as I base my process for design around technology, I inherently become detached from the natural world. Drawing my inspiration from nature I seek a bridge between my two passions, art, and the outdoors where I can find contentment within both. As a result, I enjoy incorporating organic shapes, earth tone colors and flora & fauna imagery into the work that I create. Outside my artistic practice, I love progressing my skills in rock climbing, foraging for mushrooms and berries, and exploring the natural world.”

“Justin Duckworth (A.K.A. Ducky) is a graphic designer, photographer, and writer hailing from the great state of Maryland. His journey in the arts started during his senior year of high-school, taking photos for the spring sport teams. The summer following graduation, Justin picked up street photography as a hobby and started experimenting with designs using his images. He fell in love with both, and currently produces works in both fields, while writing about them as well. He is currently a Sophomore enrolled at WSU, pursuing a degree in Digital Technology and Cultures. Justin’s work brings character and integrity back into the world, combatting the current direction that society is taking photography and design.”
